This is a very hot topic in so many group discussion sessions and I don't know why they put this topic there...as it is more of person's perception about the subject matter. And perception, in turn lies in the family background, cultural environment, and and the surrounding society.
Now, there is a misconception among so called modern society that those who believe in arrange marriage are outdated and uncle types or very conservative but this is not true. As per my thinking is concerned, I prefer arrange marriage not because that I don't want to be categorized in the above said misconception.
There is a unique pleasure in getting married with someone whom you are stranger with and then converting this stranger bond into so tight that you could celebrate diamond jubilee with her. whereas in case of love marriage you already knew a person prior to your marriage and there is no surprise and fun after marriage. Let's look at the basic statistics...in arrange marriage you start your married life with your partner and start it at 0 (let's say) and then keep on living further. But in case of love marriage you already lived with your partner and spent few time so your married life start definitely starts after 10 or 20 and you are left with just 80 points which is instead 100 in the former case.
Judging a relation with someone's prior experience is really a bad practice. Unless until you have gone through it how can you judge it. A dish might look bad but it could be very tasty.
Exploring your partners' nature and understanding her feelings and taking care of her is the best and non descriptive thing in the whole world. And survey says that most of the divorces happened in case of love marriages because of non-synergistic effect between families. Because marriage is not the relation between two individuals but a strong bond between two families.
