This practice of "going global" is the most important ingredient of growth. So far, several companies adopted this approach in order to grow and earn high profits by crossing their national boundaries and reaching another economy, another country, and different people with different culture.

What globalization is? There are various customized definition of this concept but in simple terms, we can say that globalization is phenomenon of diluting borders of countries and region and to reach consumers world over. Examples of entities are numerous who adopted globalization e.g., Toyota, Hyundai, McDonald's, Subway, KFC, Citibank, Vodafone so on and so forth.

Let's take the example of everyone's favorite i.e., McDonald's or McD's as it is pronounced mostly. McDonald a retail food chain entered various countries with a grand success. Everywhere people accepted it as part of their country itself. The reason behind is that, though they followed globalization approach but they added a spice of localization. Mere globalization can never generate success, so it should/must be complemented with localization.

Localization refers to adopting and customizing your processes according to the cultural environment of particular place e.g., countries. Taking McDonald's example again, they practiced localization successfully, when they entered India they stopped selling pork and beef burgers and started selling potato burgers to meet the customized need of Indian consumers. Although there methodology, processes, service, outlet design is standardized in every country. This gives us the example of going global with practicing localization.

While travelling I came across somewhat similar thing. I saw SAP building which is originally from Germany and they established their office in India as part of their globalization objectives. But localization can be seen from the point that, they are flagging Indian flag on their building.

There is a tradition to give respect to the nation by lowering down the flag as sunsets. I came across many government buildings who host Indian flag but no one cares to pay tribute. But I was amazed to see such thing happening on some foreign company's site.

The ultimate way to increase your brand image and thereby profitability on foreign land is the right approach of localizing globalization.deepakhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/10593615112118012134noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-981954589309586587.post-34484179446131766542010-05-30T10:04:00.000-07:002010-05-30T10:26:49.282-07:00Generale de Theory de UnemploymenteI am attempting to put some additional thoughts on the so called theory of unemployment after having some feedback from friends on the earlier part. Though they are very much agreed with the points in the earlier one, but it entered some narrower zone, may be because of the wrong example which I took to elaborate. Now I am trying to make it something general which could apply to any educational stream.

As I said earlier that increasing rate of unemployment is because of the mismatch between industry's requirement and institution's redundancy in imparting the desired knowledge. Another important reason is compromises of potential workforce due to lack of understanding of the difference between "job" and a "career".

Important aspect of unemployment is corporate world's rigidity, in the sense that, every company which came up with job offering put "experience" clause in their eligibility requirements. If every company do so, then from where the candidate gets the experience. Rather, they should consider "freshers" also, as they are fresh blood and mind to the organization and can be beneficial for the same, as the latter can mould them as per their operations and needs.

In order to reduce this increasing gap both i.e., educational institutions and corporate world need to work in collaboration. Educational institutions should design courses as per the industry need and demands and corporate world should become more flexible in order to give opportunities to fresh minds.

Fresh and energetic minds with support of applied skills and experienced corporate guidance can create miracles. It's the way how we perceive about a particular opportunity i.e., its upto us whether we encash it or we let it go. In today's time, although educational system is so flexible that everyone at any point of time can switch from one area of education to another but corporate world isn't that so. When three of them i.e., individual, educational institution and corporate world get together like a single force then no one can stop India from taking its world leader position.

Think about it!!!!deepakhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/10593615112118012134noreply@blogger.com2tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-981954589309586587.post-53861908083218138952010-05-28T11:53:00.000-07:002010-05-28T12:19:13.166-07:00Indian marriages...Writing this blog in very tired situation though tired by fun. Came after a friend's marriage reception and got tired after meeting so many people wearing fake smiles and glistening, bright and shining clothes.

It's very funny to attend Indian marriages but that's what (fun) we organize get together meets and other family events. If we remove this factor, then there will be no difference among it and boring typical corporate meetings.

Carrying plethora of gifts, wrapped in shining and attractive paper (although no one knows what's there behind and sometimes presenter even don't know it) enters into marriage venue. Women have their full attention on how costly and beautiful their sarees are, in comparison to others, girls and boys are busy searching for their company among crowd, giving each other signals of being singles and other sorts. Kids, don't even where they are going and for what, but one thing which is very clear in their mind is or we can say focused towards two things, one is DJ or their games and second is "ice-creams". And men, yes men how can we forget them, they enter the hall in hope of some cocktail stuff and if that's not available then they get involved in their boring topics of politics and business with their peers.

All these participants in such an event, wait eagerly for one thing, apart from various other stuffs in which they try to find their busyness or try to hide behind it, and that thing is the time of opening up of food court. While chit-chatting everyone has one eye at food court, in order to be the first one to lift up the plate and fill it with food (like priests do in Hinduism, they are served with fresh cook first and then later after he finish up his stomach filling rituals, other family members get to have something).

The moment food court opens, the whole scenario got reversed, except for bride and groom on the stage, everyone is in food court including the photographer. Sometimes, I thought there might be few people who went on dieting before attending such functions to eat to their necks.

(To be continued),,,tired now...sleeping...deepakhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/10593615112118012134noreply@blogger.com2tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-981954589309586587.post-29344489686256843042010-05-26T10:37:00.000-07:002010-05-26T10:37:56.641-07:00Theory de Unemployment"Unemployment" is a word, by which every country gets threatened of and want to reduce it, in order to improve its global outlook. Various efforts have been done in past and are still continuing, but this problem is spreading like a tumor cell, i.e., can't be removed from the economy completely.

James Tobin, defined it as "the fraction of work force unable to find work". But the question arises here that are really people want to sit idle at their homes? Are they really not interested in earning some self respect and social status & social attachment by not doing a job? or Is it the system's fault, because of which unemployment rises?

As put beautifully by John Maynard Keynes in his theory of full employment that, "The conservative belief that there is some law of nature which prevents men from being employed, that it is 'rash' to employ men, and that it is financially sound to maintain a tenth of the population in idleness for an indefinite period is crazily improbable - the sort of thing which no man could believe who had not had his head fuddled with nonsense for years and years".

Equally partners of creating such unemployment situation along with the system are potential workforce. They even don't know the difference between a job and a career. The moment they born, they got their brains filled with lots of words from inexperienced and loser people, that you should do this and you should do that. No one ever cares to ask his/her child what he/she wants to become, they just cares for what their relatives and neighbor thinks, although such people never gonna come in turbulent times to lend a hand of help.

Coming back to theory, according to my observations "the sole reason behind the high level of unemployment in any corner of this earth, is due to mismatch between skills of potential workforce and the need of potential employers". Let's look at an example to understand it in much better way, a person go for some technical course let's say MBA in any field e.g., finance. He/She spend whole two years in building and polishing up of his/her skills in that particular area and when he/she is ready to enter the corporate world, what they come across is that industry don't want MBA Finance and if they do they have a highly different job profile for that guy/girl let's say sales where he/she don't have any expertise or interest.

Continuing further to the above example, that person will left with two options, one, is to compromise with his/her interests and go for what industry is offering. This alternative is of disastrous nature to both the players. An individual will take up this job because of not getting of desired profile, due to which 100% justice to that job and organization can't be done. Also, it leads to that individual towards malpractices of fraud or forced him to left the job if he/she is highly ethical. Ultimately unemployment is created.

Second, he/she should wait for the right opportunity. Now, this alternative is highly unrealistic in practice because if such job profiles arises they goes to internal referred people or to some high class B-schools despite of giving chance to a skilled person. This will left that individual as a fresher i.e., without any experience due to which he/she will again not been able to get a good career. So unemployment again is created.

Now the question is why does it happen? The simple answer to this question is lack of trust, lack of confidence on person's skills and cost cutting measures (greed for more profits and less payouts).

But if organizations give a brainy thought to this rising problem they can create a mutually benefiting environment for themselves and for the prospective skilled people. If a person gets his interest area soon after the completion of his/her studies, he/she will definitely give 1000% to that job to make it profitable for organization and indirectly for himself too. Although company can save few thousand bucks by hiring skilled people and getting unskilled works done from them at low payouts in short term, but in long term they have to spend a lot in covering up fraudulent and erroneous works of those unsatisfied workforce.

So, in order to, improve quality of work and other standards organizations should follow effective measures to minimize the extent of this mismatch. Also, potential workforce keep their patience and should not compromise.

Always choose a "Career" not a "Job" because career is portrayed once in whole life but you can get as million jobs throughout your life. So, its in your hand how beautifully you draw your life's portray.

All the best!!!deepakhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/10593615112118012134noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-981954589309586587.post-70201843366372474062010-05-25T01:36:00.000-07:002010-05-25T02:02:07.325-07:00Not for common...commonwealth...CWGInternational activities which aims to integrate different economies are of crucial importance for the development of every nation on the front of increased economic development. Some of these international activities can be Olympics, Commonwealth games, conferences etc.

Now, one thinks how can these activities helps in economic development? then the answer to it is very simple, it attracts FDI into country, attracts foreign players for setting up of their businesses, employment creation, infrastructure development, spread of cultural values, boost to host country's industries, increased foreign exchange and a good image in the world's map.

Earlier, this opportunity and pleasure was vested with developed economies on the perception that since they are developed, so they will be capable of hosting such events. But now, scenario has reversed, developing and emerging economies are also been given equal opportunity to prove their mettle in hosting such events so that they can also get equal chance for development. We have lots of examples of this phenomenon around us, like China's successful hosting of olympic games, Brazil has been provided with an opportunity to host forthcoming olympic games, and India is hosting commonwealth games in FY 2010.

Reason for writing this blog is to think that are commonwealth games really able to provide above mentioned benefits. Are commonwealth games good for Indian citizens? Will commonwealth games be able to provide benefits to India? Well, after careful analysis I can say that commonwealth games are not creating any wealth for the common people, rather they are overloading them with huge price pressures in already highly inflationary conditions.

Delhi Government introduces various mandates for commonwealth games. As common people are already under high inflationary pressures thanks to slowdown in financial, economical markets and monsoon led lower supply, Delhi Government increased tax rates to cover up the funds required for the various developments. Apart from this, it raised prices on various commodities e.g., electricity, gas, pulses to vegetables.

All private buses are mandated to stop commuting during games interval. Various shopkeepers on commonwealth games track given mandate to shut down their shops during such period. Now, after seeing above facts, I am thinking whose making wealth out of these commonwealth games, ministers or common people.

Lack of planning, absence of strong leadership and lack of coordination among ministries is the sole reason behind the delay in the commonwealth project and ultimately the reason behind the fears and tears of common people. Story is still open for a good ending and let's see whether these commonwealth games will be helpful for India as they were for other economies. Will they create wealth for common people like they did for common people of other countries?deepakhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/10593615112118012134noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-981954589309586587.post-57782120741973661822009-12-31T08:36:00.000-08:002009-12-31T08:38:06.309-08:00Happy New Year..2010...<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 380px; height: 273px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh7rQEWmOZK-n-uCcQodcjTEEHrpyIibEdj4rQoJCy6fNMdNAi4Who91ZqbeY4Q-jVe56F8aZ52I4MIXOeSJaYtJ89MBYv0bGTGX1ljsxJBeijpEpN9NTHfbyWU0tIdxhBKeAo1fj95hW2Q/s400/ist2_9345834-happy-new-year-2010-still-life.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5421440388369652274" />deepakhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/10593615112118012134noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-981954589309586587.post-44861614359142338522009-12-28T23:42:00.000-08:002009-12-28T23:53:24.159-08:00Restricted democracyCaretaker of this nation are the ones who are behind its non-development. India is a long story of growth without development. Though various think tanks fight each other in claiming different GDP rates for every fiscal, or some white suited persons count on their votes, but no one thinks about the poor or I must say the bottom of pyramid. Thanks to Prof. Prahlad who gave this concept which helped a lot in maximizing profits by corporates but if this would have been applied to our nation's development then that day is not far where, we will also be known as the citizen of developed nation.

Still people are under-nourished, under-covered, but those caretakers sitting in their cozy and warm rooms make plans to get & retain that power. In this democratic country, who is their to listen the voices of general public until unless they protest on streets which again invite violence against those innocents.

Shouldn't be there any system who immediately take actions against the grievances of general public for whom and by whom those caretakers enjoy all their lavishes. But nobody cares.

Its really ironical to believe and look around the current situation of our system. Let's hope it will get organised and smooth as soon as possible so that living of standards in reality got to improve.deepakhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/10593615112118012134noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-981954589309586587.post-87684363634549385212009-09-10T09:22:00.000-07:002009-09-10T09:23:09.596-07:00...Poetic Resignation...Poetic Resignation

(I don't know if I should stay.)

The name is good, the brand is big

But the work I do is that of a pig

The work or the brand; what is my way?

I don't know if I should stay.

To work, they have set their own way

Nobody will care to hear what I say

My will be NULL, they wont change their way

I don't know if I should stay.

The project is in a critical stage

But to do good work, this is the age

This dilemma is killing me day by day

I don't know if I should stay.

The money is good, the place is great

But the development is at a very small rate

Should I go for the work, or wait for pay

I don't know if I should stay!

The managers don't know what they talk

The team doesn't know where they walk

That's a bad situation, what say?

I don't know if I should stay.

I can go to any other place

But what if I get the same disgrace

I can't keep switching day by day

I don't know if I should stay.

The -ves are more, the +ves are less

Then why have this unnecessary mess

No more will I walk their way,

It's all done, I won't stay.

Thanks & Regards
Employee

Reply: What I want to say? And perception, in turn lies in the family background, cultural environment, and and the surrounding society.

Now, there is a misconception among so called modern society that those who believe in arrange marriage are outdated and uncle types or very conservative but this is not true. As per my thinking is concerned, I prefer arrange marriage not because that I don't want to be categorized in the above said misconception.

There is a unique pleasure in getting married with someone whom you are stranger with and then converting this stranger bond into so tight that you could celebrate diamond jubilee with her. whereas in case of love marriage you already knew a person prior to your marriage and there is no surprise and fun after marriage. Let's look at the basic statistics...in arrange marriage you start your married life with your partner and start it at 0 (let's say) and then keep on living further. But in case of love marriage you already lived with your partner and spent few time so your married life start definitely starts after 10 or 20 and you are left with just 80 points which is instead 100 in the former case.

Judging a relation with someone's prior experience is really a bad practice. Unless until you have gone through it how can you judge it. A dish might look bad but it could be very tasty.

Exploring your partners' nature and understanding her feelings and taking care of her is the best and non descriptive thing in the whole world. And survey says that most of the divorces happened in case of love marriages because of non-synergistic effect between families. Because marriage is not the relation between two individuals but a strong bond between two families.deepakhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/10593615112118012134noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-981954589309586587.post-45095336623597302492009-08-03T07:25:00.000-07:002009-08-03T07:36:37.797-07:00Demolition of societiesHuman being i.e., us are social animal and lives in socially equipped area. Earlier, I mean before the invention of internet all of us would like to spend our time with our family members, relatives and friends but now the scenario has changed we are just connected virtually. We watch movies on internet, play games on it and even these days people marry via internet.

Why this dramatic change has occurred? Why are we moving away from our friends, family members and even our social values and traditions? Is it the beginning of our social values demolition or are we getting modernized?

But we have to think about it deeply because it's breaking a very thin line of relations among people and separating them away. I am not against technology but we should think how effectively we can make benefits out of it. Decision is yours....deepakhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/10593615112118012134noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-981954589309586587.post-19151989767217658712009-06-22T03:32:00.000-07:002009-06-22T03:49:19.015-07:00color blindness is much better than normal vision...Anyone who read this title will definitely gonna laugh at me...but not the intelligent one....there is a deep meaning inside this line...Now you must be thinking that everybody wants to be physically fit, mentally ofcourse so how could the color blindness be better...Recently the whole world's attraction centred to Australia and the victimised Indians...the news related to any attack got lot of media coverage in every form...if I am not wrong the total no. of attacks happened in the range of 20-30 which is really a shame...this proves that Australia failed in practicing Hospitality thought this is the most attractive course (theoretically) for students at OZ. The past is past and we can't bring it back but the question here is Why did it all happened? Is it because Indians are more smarter than people from all over the world and they are eating their jobs their or it just a racial attack...the difference which some time back Gandhiji zeroed by his satyagarah and by other efforts...Why we think that somebody who have black color is not a good person or not hygeinic but let me remind that our mythological God Shri Krishna is also black...Barack Obama is also black...and similar other examples. Aren't they the good examples of humanitarian...we have to change our mentality and broad our mind and accept the people with open heart and respect. But these incidents also brought the good learning as well (as I always said that every bad has something good in it)...The learning is that we also should respect people from our own country i.e., from north eastern region which never got that respect and recognition as other Indians Got in India...Whenever we heard of the racial attacks abroad we got irritated and angry but had we ever looked at ourselves. They are also the citizens of India and brothers and sisters of us so its my request to all who read this blog that please start respecting those people as well and give value to their emotions also and if anyone who is already feel that they are their brothers and sisters than please keep this spirit up and try to communicate this message among your friends as well....

the easiest way to get respect is to give respect first....deepakhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/10593615112118012134noreply@blogger.com2tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-981954589309586587.post-70328833648107347322009-06-04T03:55:00.000-07:002009-06-04T03:58:34.663-07:00unforgettable time...When
The school reopened in June,
And we settled in our new desks and
benches!

When we queued up in book depot,
And got our new books
and notes!

When we wanted two Sundays and no Mondays, yet
managed to line up daily for the morning prayers.
We learnt writing with
slates and pencils, and
Progressed To fountain pens and ball pens and then Micro tips!

When we began drawing with crayons and evolved to
Color pencils and finally sketch pens!

When we started calculating
first with tables and then with
Clarke's tables and advanced to
Calculators and computers!

When we chased one another in the
corridors in Intervals, and returned to the classrooms
Drenched in sweat!

When we had lunch in classrooms, corridors,
Playgrounds,
under the trees and even in cycle sheds!

When all the colors in the world,
Decorated the campus on the Second Saturdays!

When a single P.T. period in the week's Time Table,
Was awaited more eagerly than the monsoons!

When cricket was played with writing pads as bats,
And Neckties and socks rolled into balls!

When few played
'kabadi' and 'Kho-Kho' in scorching sun,
While others simply played
'book cricket' in the
Confines of classroom!

Of fights but no conspiracies,
Of Competitions but seldom jealousy!

When we used to
watch Live Cricket telecast,
In the opposite house in Intervals and Lunch breaks!

When few rushed at 3:45 to
'Conquer' window seats in our School bus!
While few others had 'Big Fun', 'peppermint' ,
'kulfi', ' milk ice !' and 'sharbat !' at 4o Clock!
Gone are the days
Of Sports Day,
and the annual School Day ,
And the one-month long
preparations for them..

Gone are the days
Of the stressful Quarterly,
Half Yearly and Annual Exams, And the most
enjoyed holidays after them!

Gone are the days
Of tenth and twelfth standards, when
We Spent almost the whole year writing revision tests!
We learnt,
We enjoyed,
We played,
We won,
We lost,
We laughed,
We cried,
We fought,
We thought.
With so much fun in them, so many friends,
So much experience, all this and more!

Gone are the days
When we used
to talk for hours with our friends!
Now we don't have time to say a `Hi'!

Gone are the days
When we played games on the road!
Now we
Code on the road with laptop!

Gone are the days
When we saw stars Shining at Night!
Now we see stars when our code doesn't Work!

Gone are the days
When we sat to chat with Friends on grounds!
Now we chat in chat rooms......!

Gone are the days
Where we
studied just to pass!
Now we study to save our job!
Gone are the days
Where we had no money in our pockets and still fun filled on our hearts!!
Now we have the atm as well as credit card but with an empty heart!!
Gone are the days
Where we shouted on the road!
Now we don't shout even at home
Gone are the days
Where we got lectures from all!
Now we give lectures to all... like the one I'm doing now....!!
Gone are the days
But not the memories, which will be
Lingering in our hearts for ever and ever and
Ever and ever and ever .....

Gone are the Days.... God when created this earth and so called life, he first made man and sent him on the earth, but later he realized that who is going to take care of this hard-working and physically strong fool. So he created its finest creation among all, which we can say the god’s mirror image. He sent his sensitive, emotional and caring image on this earth in different forms to take care of everything. Why I am saying woman as image of God because after him she has the only power to give birth to a life. She has to face so many phases in her life and though she remains what she is i.e., image of care and emotions, just her role changes from one phase to another. She first born as a daughter, and then become sister, after that someone’s wife, then to complete herself became mother and so on. Sometimes I hear debates going on round the corner between men and women that who among is much better and people are fighting unnecessarily though they know the answer as well. Undoubtedly its women, who is stronger and better than anyone in this world.

She is much stronger than man that she is the only one who has to leave her parents home after spending 20-25 memorable years with them, for a person who is just known to her since 3-5 years long. After leaving her home, she makes other person’s house into home, take her family’s name ahead etc. etc.
A woman is stronger, because she is the only one who can spend her remaining life in colorless attire after her husband’s death. She is the one who can withstand those life creating pains, she spent hours in labor to give a birth to the child, prior to this she is the one who carry a baby for nine months in her womb and not being able to enjoy because she know how to care. So what is the meaning of doing such kind of debate? If you just look back and flip the pages of history you will find the great story of her transformation from pardanashin voiceless servant cum wife to becoming sati for her dead husband to give him moksha and making her life hell to a widow who is not allowed to do re marriage to an educated women to working women and now she is on the top of the world. Just look at your mother if you want to learn something. She cares for everyone, she ate after everybody has eaten and satisfied although sometimes she has to sleep without food.

India is the only country in this world which is addressed femininely as we say Bharat Mata. No other country is known by such respected name, have you ever heard someone saying Pakistan Mata or America dada, I bet no. we used to worship vaishno ma, and other matas but we forgot to worship our own mother who has given birth to us. She woke up in the morning prepare food for everyone then she rushed to her office, handle boss’s sarcasm and orders and arguments, and then after returning home she again get back to her daily routine job and this cycle goes on and on. She faced so many hurdles daily that we even can’t imagine it.

Suppose you board a bus to go to office and someone came and pinched your back, or make lured comments on you, don’t even bother to stand up and give you seat, scanning through your body like X-ray machine (I don’t know what he is searching for, either counting bones or whatever which he just know) when are you standing or even walking on the road or bus stop, pushes you in the bus, follow all way long from bus stop to your office then back to your home like a street dog used to do(but still dog is obedient and faithful) and so on. You can’t even imagine the pain which a woman has to face daily and if somehow you imagined that then it became the worst nightmare of your life. You can talk to as many woman as you want at any time of the day or night but the moment your girlfriend or your wife talked to some guy, you tend to come out of your paints to give her divorce or started judging about her character forgetting all those days when she slept empty stomach or awaken for the whole night in your illness to care for you or the pain which she went thorough while leaving her parents for you or the pain which she encountered while giving you your family representative.

We says that we live in so called modern and educated society where there is no respect for woman then I wish that we should live in not so modern society. Question yourself what you got from this modernism and I have never encountered any study material or in any books that dis respect the woman then what is the use of education.

We take education to broaden our thinking and provide equal platform to woman where she can feel safe and able to walk on the streets keeping her face up, where she can also live her life independently and take her decision with full freedom, where she can also enjoy her life fully without any restrictions. So, please give it a serious thought, if you’re a good human being will enough don’t lose your goodness but if you are just a human being or even not then start becoming a good human being.

Respect woman, respect your parents, respect your nation and respect yourself!!!deepakhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/10593615112118012134noreply@blogger.com3tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-981954589309586587.post-61480531086973552792009-05-23T06:42:00.000-07:002009-05-23T06:43:06.220-07:00A serious riddle....India is a country of exceptions. Here one can find anything or anyone which is not existing in any other part of the world e.g. mangoes, various seasons and fluctuating weathers, different kind of animals, various rivers, mountains and other resources. Besides, these proudly things there lies another side of coin which tell some different story. Now look at these extraordinary things, bal-vivah (child marriage), temples more than the no. of gods with useless & illogical rituals, so many political parties that provide lot of pain to voters in remembering their lamp or elephant logo, no family planning (thinking that child is a god’s gift so who we are to stop God; Moron even god questioned himself so many times what’s my fault in increasing population), technologically illiterate babus and so on. List is very large that my fingers got tired while typing.
Now you must be thinking this is so common why I am writing these things yeah of course its very common thing in India that’s why I want to divert your attention on our roots of the so called system and its infrastructure. Now its time to solve a riddle. I will give hints and you have to find out what it is. Chalo! Let’s play
A location where all the approval and disapproval games being played. A place where you can find huge piles of old, rotten, torn out, yellow pages files thought they are provided with advanced like computers ( but the fact is that advanced human is used just for playing solitaire and if you ask the player about anything related to computer I bet you , you won’t get any answer. That Mr. 6th pay commission salary receiver didn’t know even how to on/off the computer). A place where tea is so famous that though you are a guest but you have to treat them with tea (chai-pani). A place where you find lots of heavyweight bribers with belly coming out like a globe of this earth. Sometimes, I even amazed and want to ask fellow that what moth are you in of your pregnancy. A place where you can find red shades easily on the walls. Thanks to our babus for this mixture of color paint. Sometimes I think that this panwallas should be banned in India or the masala should come with transparent color so that white walls remain white.
I think I have given more than enough hints to this riddle. Yom must be able to figure out this place very easily. If not then you have to open up your mind a little bit because I am not going to answer this riddle.
Apart from all these funny hints you must be attentive by now because the above mentioned or any other computer, wall paint, flooring or any other material even a glass is bought from the money paid by you to the government in the form of tax. You must raise this question as it is very urgent and its your right because ultimately you are giving up your money. Secondly, please stop providing those rolling pumpkin babus chai pani because its we who motivate and increase the level of corruption and bribery. Everybody looks at his ease whether he has to pay anything. And, then we blame government on and off. If anything is wrong we blame that it s government who is not playing its roll but ultimately we are the problem originators.
The main problem with an Indian person is that we don’t want to do hard work and we want lavish life without any constraints, we give up easily. But if we want to see India as developed country we have to change all these things and our habits too.
The decision is yours….deepakhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/10593615112118012134noreply@blogger.com2tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-981954589309586587.post-72847788232117401182009-05-13T22:40:00.000-07:002009-05-13T22:45:26.712-07:00indian economy enjoying roller coaster rideEarlier (before the great fall of Lehman Brother’s scenario) India was growing very rapidly by achieving 9% GDP growth with individual growth of all its sectors. But as Lehman Brother fell down due to Sub-prime crisis it triggered the onset of liquidity crunch and recession (period of negative growth of GDP) all over the globe. And, after adopting the liberalization and globalization policies (1990-91) how then India can be untouched of these effects, so ultimately it faced the heat of slowdown. In this situation, growth of the economy fell down, demand dropped, banks stopped lending money, supply halted, businesses started dying out, stock markets dip down to all time low (from 20000 mark to 8000 mark), investors lost their money, bank’s NPA starts rising, unemployment increased, rupee depreciated against dollar ( from 30 to 50). The effects are so bad that a single sector or even a single individual got worsely affected.

But this is all a part of history now, because India and even whole world started coming out of it and every region is showing positive signs of growth because recession is a cyclical process and when trough comes then definitely crest will come. I must say that the regulatory framework of Indian government is so strong that they never let bad things to penetrate in our markets deeply. Thanks to RBI & SEBI which worked proactively and in unison to handle the crisis very smoothly with the help of different tools i.e., by reducing CRR, SLR, Repo rate, Reverse Repo rate, flexibility on buyback options, & 100% FDI approval to different sectors to boost the economy. To ease the liquidity position they forced the banks to start lending money so that businesses can start their production, and when production is there, supply increases which ultimately lower down the commodity prices thus reducing inflation. And, this model worked as inflation dip down from double digits i.e., nearly 13% to 0.3%. Another positive signal is that stock market once again comes to the level of 12000 mark. Companies started hiring but of course on lower salary packages then they do it before which means unemployment rate started decreasing.

As per my understanding there are still few sectors which lags behind in overall growth prospective e.g., agriculture sector which shows negative growth, SME sectors who has major contribution in GDP, education sector, exports sector etc. Government should develop some strategies to help and support these sectors for further growth. Government can allow PPP (Public Private Partnership) in education sector to develop it and to provide quality education. It can support agriculture and SME sectors by providing subsidies and cheaper loans and insurances to the farmers. Also, it can reduce its export duties to enhance the exporting activity of our country because right now the exporting condition is very bad. Our country is full of resources and has great minds among the world but still we are more dependent on imports from other countries which reduce our forex reserves.
One important aspect is that Government should impose tax on profits earned by trading in stock markets similar to other developed countries, to generate revenues and then using it to help other sectors.

So, we can see that India is on growing path and by analysts it was assumed that by 2030 India will be super power in the world. And to further increase the growth opportunities Government should apply above mentioned recommendations.
But yes, as I mentioned above it’s a cycle so Indian government should start making a protective shield around its economy as it definitely come again but with a huge force.deepakhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/10593615112118012134noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-981954589309586587.post-62446171976539098492009-04-26T19:57:00.000-07:002009-04-26T20:00:28.306-07:00word "recession" is inflatingRecession synominously we can say the great fall of Lehman Brothers & subsequent fall of its other cousins across the world. Once it fell down like an old log of tree all the small & big trees underneath it, also got out of their roots or got injured and lost their major processes & operations. But the question is that why trees or countries which are not in direct touch with this giant started panick. The domino effect can be seen on all the sectors & industries whether its energy industry, services sector or any other. But the funny thing which happened across the globe is that the word "recession" is so much on tongue of every person whether its a nukkadwala, chaiwala, CEO, professors, students etc. I have came across this funny thing very often for example, whenever a person is asked for some favor or treat or anything which involves their outlays they simply use the excuse of recession. I know that condition outside is very worst that nobody is getting job after getting such expensive degrees which they bought by taking loans and for which they have to pay hefty EMIs. Sorry, for my word bought but its true, if you look out the quality of education every institution is interested in making their business profitable being the fact that they are non-profitable organizations. No one is interested in giving quality education to students, teachers are interested in doing their jobs instead they have to teach students. Everybody is saying that we are not giving jobs because of recession, I am not eating because of recession, I am not sleeping because of recession even if somebody got fever the reason is recession. Let me show you the true picture, India has never been got trapped into recession, thanks to RBI & SEBIs proactive and good decisions. Another reason India didn't faced direct recession is because peopel here are more sensitive and savings oriented. Till now only 2-3% of Indian population invested in stock markets or other like instruments, rest of the population are still confortable in putting their money in fixed deposits. Corporates uses this time as an opportunity because they are laying off their unproductive people and hiring the experienced one in less salary. In India the only recession is in the minds of people, its just psychological recession and lack of confidence among corporates. Its the recession of trust & confidence because we have seen the satyam's asatyam raga. Banks are sitting on heap of money but they are not lending because of fear of losing all. Corporates have huge money, for example they are transferring their offices and opening subsidies in countries where real estate rates are very cheap. Everyone is confused these days what is happening and why it is happening e.g., nobody knows the reason behind stocks rally or nobody knows when inflation is in decimals i.e., 0.3% then why the prices of goods are still high. Well nobody knows anything.
After this another question arises what to do then? Simple answer is start trusting people, be patient because if we are in the trough phase of cycle then definitely we will come into crest phase also putting simply, we will definitely see the positive side of the hedge where everything is far better than what it used to be earlier. And, if I forecast the things will be rosy again by October 2009, just keep faith in God, keep doing the work with similar pace as it is used to be earlier, and at the end keep smiling!!!deepakhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/10593615112118012134noreply@blogger.com3tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-981954589309586587.post-77032201434804820662009-04-20T01:56:00.000-07:002009-04-20T02:06:51.940-07:00tears for one's own smileI know by reading the title of blog anyone got confused that what is it all about. You will understand it when you read the whole blog. Its very difficult to find those people today who cry for other's pain. Its very easy to laugh and cry for themselves but its really very very difficult to cry for other person.
One similar type of incident happened with me as well. Once I lost an opportunity of something due to some reason obviously I was very sad but I am a stable person so I overcame out of it and started normal life. One day one of my friend who got the same opportunity came to me and discussing about the issue and then in another moment she started crying though she need to be happy and smiling at that time. I was really shocked and touched at the same time. But she really shared my pain and sorrow which is very rare to found.
This shows the quality of a person. This is my learning from that incident that sharing and being part of someone's happiness is very easy but sharing some other's pain is really difficult. To become a good human being one should learn how to share pain and sorrow of other.deepakhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/10593615112118012134noreply@blogger.com2tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-981954589309586587.post-63824860084877805992009-04-20T01:23:00.000-07:002009-04-20T01:45:46.708-07:00slumdog idealistsA week ago on the same day i have got an assignment to talk about the some of my ideal whom i follow. When i heard about the topic of assignment as other people I also got the same thought of choosing "Mahatama Gandhi", "A. P. J. Abdul Kalam" or someone else but when i gave it a second thought i found that i don't have any ideal, i don't follow anyone. It is not like that I am a self-obsessed person or over-confident one but it shows that I am a self - confident person and a good leader as I have my own philosophies to follow.
But, yes i would like to mention that although i don't have any ideal but still i learn a lot from people who live in slums, who don't have any kind of resources, primarily they don't have money and if they got some then they have only two option either to eat food for survival or provide medicines to one of the sick person so that other can die minute by minute and second by second. The children don't get basic education nor even toys to play and celebrate their childhood. But still you can find happiness on their face. They are the most graciest people on earth as they live directly under the God's supervision as they don't even have roof.
Though they don't have anything to proud on but still they are living their life. On the other side, we don't care about the resources provided to us by our ancestors and we waste them like anything. Whenever i am sad because of not getting what I expected then i remember those poor faces and i got lot of releif that they don't even have their necessity atleast I do. This thought boost up my morale and confidence and motivates me to go on further and give it a try again to achieve it.deepakhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/10593615112118012134noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-981954589309586587.post-42241952119593629352009-04-16T02:13:00.000-07:002009-04-16T02:40:21.643-07:00sincerity is jackedToday everybody talks about sincerity, but i still don't know the meaning of it. Is sincerity means using contacts to achieve something or is it just sincerely buttering your bosses to get something. I don't know, i really don't.
According to my personal perception, sincerity is doing your duties responsibly, honestly, truly, consistently and loyally. Sincerity is something which everybody don't have it is to be earned throughout the life and by practice only. Now the question is what benefits it provides to an individual honestly speaking "nothing" in this materialistic world. Everybody praises a sincere person but when time came for awards or real appraisal they forget you and they pick up the people who jacked their sincerity. By reading this someone might think that how demotivating the blog is but it is not, just go into the depth of it and one can easily figure out how motivating it is.
Lessons to be learned from these situations are that never loose your hope and that is what my philosophy of life and whatever happened to you or going to be happened is always proves to be good for you because in "God's" dictionary bad word is pretermitting. So, be brave and take every failure as the opportunity to turn up into success and you will find that those who jacked everything are the ultimate losers and you will be winner one day sooner or later. Be patient and learn from every experience. Be sincere in your goodness.
Be happy
take care.deepakhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/10593615112118012134noreply@blogger.com4
